PEAR SLICES 2019 AUDITIONS

Sign up to audition for Pear Slices 2019, our latest iteration of our popular annual anthology production made up of 8 short plays written by members of the Pear Playwright's Guild.

If we need callbacks, they will be held by invitation only.

Non-AEA only.  Each actor is paid a stipend.

Each actor will play multiple roles over the course of each performance.  Versatility is key.

We are looking for the following 6 role tracks:

1 Woman, 20-30               1 Man, 20-30

1 Woman, 30-45               1 Man, 30-45

1 Woman, 45+                  1 Man, 45+

Rehearsals begin in mid-March.  We typically rehearse at The Pear Sun-Wed evenings from 7-10pm and add Thu eve rehearsals after the preceding show closes.

Performances are Thu/Fri/Sat at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm from May 3-19, with a Thursday preview on May 2 at 8pm.

Prep

Please prepare 1 or 2 monologues, no longer than 3 minutes total.  You may be asked to read sides from one or more of the plays.

Also please bring a headshot/resume and be prepared to declare existing conflicts.
